This piece was drawn off of the game character Funtime Foxy from Five Nights At Freddie’s, specifically from the 5th game, Five Nights At Freddie’s: Sister Location. I wanted to have a similar kind of dynamic lighting that was present in the Magic Goat piece I did, as I was really stoked with how that turned out. Due to the setting of the game, I decided to go with a kind of spotlight or strobe light with a highly contrasted and saturated area in one stripe, but with some bounce light around his body, as Foxy has a very shiny surface. I was also really captured by the background sparkles and screentones I used in the Goat art piece, so I wanted to include some of those as well. It took me awhile to get the headshape right for Foxy, as I wanted it to feel natural in my style, well also keeping his fox-like featured and robotic nature. I went for more of a halfbody shot rather than a portrait, as I wanted to push myself a little more, forcing myself to draw arms and torso, and I’m very glad that I did because it frames the piece alot better. One thing I think I could have experimented with was adding some blur effects to his tail and the lower parts of his body, to emphasize the focal point and make it feel like your actually looking at him. I think the fingers could have been rendered better, but I’m not dissatisfied with them. This was drawn on the 3rd of October, 2023.

I used a similar process as previously done, using brushes and overlay layers to create base shade on the unrendered piece, rendering the piece with that included shading, and then using final overlay effects and screentones on top of properly adjust and saturate the colors.
