This was another mixed media sculpture from early 2023. this one changed quite a bit as the creative process continued, as I was experimenting with having movable and posable sculptures, I created a wire armature and bulked it out with fabric. what I did not count of was the wire snapping. The wire I used was not meant to be bent repeatedly, so unfortunately quite a few pieces ended up snapping. Once this happened I wasn’t able to replace ethe wire as it was already glued into the fabric. I decided to give the character a sling and make it so that he was in an apocalypse landscape, running into I jury’s and danger. this was accompanied by added red and brown washes to his feet and clothes.
