Ive collected quite a few stuffed animals over my life, and they mean alot to me, and i always enjoy doing creative things with them, whether it be making them accessories or clothing. I first came up with the idea for a little mock newspaper around the 12th of January 2023. I started working on some images to put into the paper, but i didnt end up completing the paper. The main reason i was held back was because i wasnt sure how to write the articles. i managed to finsih the first page, and a few images that im quite pleased with.
This image was suppoused to be for an article about new stuffed animals arriving in “town”. This was actually while i was waiting for this specific animal, my Father was coming home from England with him after i ordered him to my Grandmothers place. His name is Peter and he is a Jellycat Woodruff Wolf. I started this piece on the 14th of January 2023 and it took me over 7 hours.
This piece was the photo on the only finished page of the Newspaper, and was of my 2009 Build-a-Bear WWF Grey Wolf, who is the same stuffed animal in my art piece Detectives. In this news paper he is a writer who is set to realease a new book. This piece was started on the 12th of January and took around 3 hours.
This drawing was made to be a photograph that was secretly taken of 2 polititans being seen together outside of offical meetings or channels. The charcater to the left is a scotty dog i got in wales, and the right one is a corgi i found in an op shop. This piece was started on the 14th and took over an hour.
This piece was suppoused to be one of those policatical cartoons, and i really like how it turned out. I love her expressive face and her proportions. In the Newspaper i had the idea to credit the artist to another stuffed animal, as if they are a cartoonist themselves. This was done on the 14th and took half an hour.
The image on the right was suppoused to be a small advertisement and logo for a company, which is owned by another one of my stuffed animals, silky.
