This design was first started on the 19th of june, and is still one of my favirotes. When i was getting more into sculpture and figure making, i decided to experiment with being able to have the figures stand on their own, which sounds straight forward but had not been up until that point. i altered his legs to be quite a bit thicker than i orginally drew them. He is one of my favirote figures, as im very pleased with how he turned out.
the design is slightly different from the digital drawings, with him having no pupils, larger feet and darker spots on his body. for this piece I went the route of having the arms be separate from the initial sculpture, so I could more easily paint them. I have further experimented hnique as it allows me to get paint on the harder to recharges without disturbing the progress on the other parts of the body.
